OK, catch-up update on Susannah stuff: She can now clap her hands, wave bye-bye, point at things, and bounce up and down nodding her head to music she likes-- and actually whenever she sees people riding horses on TV. Extremely cute. Actual speaking is still pretty much limited to Da-Da, "coooooooooo" under her breath to mean cool, and the occasional surferish "Whoa" with a bit of a chuckle to it (more Joey from Blossom than Keanu in Bill and Ted, if I had to pin it down). There are other things that she SEEMS to SORT OF say on occasion, but I wouldn't bet my life on the fact that it isn't just a coincidence of noises, if you know what I mean. Ma-ma (and just "Mommmmm") fall into that category. Same for "hello" and other odd words that we might be repeating a lot in a certain conversation to her, and she will mimic one time, shocking the hell out of us, then never say again. For instance the other day we both SWORE she said "horse" very clearly. Then we decided it was probably some kind of a joint hallucination. Anyway, what else? Her spiderish crawl-drag action gets her around the house faster and faster all the time. She and I both had a cold for the last few days and she thought it was hiLARious every time I blew my nose. Oh, and she got two new pairs of shoes and one pair of boots, all of which I thought would be impossible for her to pull off and play with like she always did with her first pair-- but all of which she did immediately learn to pull off. She also got her first toy car, a little blue cop car which she loves, although her favorite toys are still mobile phones, remote controls and anything else she isn't supposed to play with. Also, current tooth count is six, including my big front teeth with the gap on top. This is not the most flattering picture (up her nose) but it's the only one I've gotten so far where you can really see them:

Is it too early to tell whether she has an Irish accent? I think that would be rad. I know you have a whole country full of them, but just think about all the street cred the accent will give her here. And Foster front teeth for the win!
